Question 1

What documents do I need to rent a bike?

Accepted Answer

You must have a valid driving licence to rent and ride a vehicle. This is mandatory and non-negotiable. Physical or digital licence verification may be accepted because licence validity is checked during pickup. Jodhpur Bikes may also capture the rider's face or photo for identity matching with submitted documents. No valid driving licence means no rental. Government ID such as Aadhaar, voter ID, PAN, or passport is accepted only for identity verification.

Question 2

Is there any security deposit?

Accepted Answer

No. Jodhpur Bikes offers bike rentals with zero security deposit.

Question 3

Is fuel included in the rental price?

Accepted Answer

Fuel is not included in the rental price. You need to refuel the bike at the nearest fuel station.

Question 4

How can I rent my ride?

Accepted Answer

You can rent online from the bike listing page or the rental cards on the Jodhpur Bikes home page: choose your vehicle, pickup date and duration, and pay online. The booking form checks real-time availability for your dates and blocks payment when the check shows the vehicle as sold out. For quick help before or after renting, call or WhatsApp Jodhpur Bikes at 9587138000.

Question 5

What happens after I rent online?

Accepted Answer

After online payment, your booking is confirmed in the Jodhpur Bikes real-time rental system and the selected vehicle is reserved for your dates. You will receive rental details and can connect on WhatsApp for pickup support, document verification, and route-related questions.

Question 6

Can I take the bike outside Jodhpur?

Accepted Answer

Outstation is not allowed for scooters. Bikes may be allowed for outstation routes only after prior approval. Please share your destination before renting so Jodhpur Bikes can confirm whether the selected bike is suitable, whether the route is allowed, and what extra charges apply.

Question 7

What happens if I break traffic rules?

Accepted Answer

The rider is responsible for following traffic rules, wearing helmets, carrying valid documents, and paying any traffic fine or challan caused during the rental period. Jodhpur traffic enforcement is strict, and violations may be detected through CCTV, traffic monitoring systems, e-challan systems, or police reporting apps.

Question 8

Will I get helmets with the bike?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Two complimentary helmets are provided with the bike, subject to availability.

Question 9

Can I cancel my rental?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can request cancellation by WhatsApp, phone, or email. A full refund may be issued when cancellation is confirmed before 10 AM on the scheduled pickup day.

Question 10

Can I get an early morning pickup if I arrive by train?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Early pickup can be supported for travellers arriving by train, subject to prior confirmation. Please call or WhatsApp Jodhpur Bikes before your journey.

Question 11

Can I keep my luggage at your office?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Jodhpur Bikes has a proper office setup near Jodhpur Railway Station, and customers can keep their luggage at the office free of charge while using the rented bike.

Question 12

What is the standard rental timing?

Accepted Answer

The listed price is per calendar day. For a 2-day rental, pickup on Monday means return before 8 PM on Tuesday. Even late-day pickup is counted as that calendar day. Early pickup, late return, overnight use, or extension should be confirmed in advance and may be charged extra.

Question 13

What should I do if there is a puncture or breakdown?

Accepted Answer

For puncture or mechanical breakdown, call or WhatsApp Jodhpur Bikes immediately at 9587138000 and share your location. Jodhpur Bikes generally handles genuine breakdown support and guides customers with the next step. Damage caused by abuse, unsafe riding, accident, or traffic violation is the rider's responsibility.

Question 14

What documents are needed for international travellers?

Accepted Answer

International travellers must have a valid driving licence and passport. Depending on the licence and travel plan, additional driving or travel documents may be required. Please WhatsApp Jodhpur Bikes before renting so document requirements can be confirmed. Licence validity and rider identity are checked during pickup, and identity proof alone is not enough. No valid driving licence means no rental.

Question 15

How fast is the pickup and document verification process?

Accepted Answer

The pickup process is designed to be quick and hassle-free. When documents are ready, licence verification and rider face or photo capture can often be completed in around 10 seconds. Returning customers are faster because verified details are already available, so they usually only need to share their mobile number for lookup and confirmation. No security deposit is required.
